Professors and lecturers from the Department of Nursing have become new members of the Nursing Research Group on Simulation in Catalonia and Andorra (GRISC)

Encarna Rodríguez, Anna Aliberch, Silvia Pilar and Cristina Alfonso, professors from the Department of Nursing at UIC Barcelona, have now joined the Nursing Research Group on Simulation in Catalonia and Andorra (GRISC). The mission of this group is to promote teaching and research on simulation in the Bachelor's degree in Nursing, through group work with members of other institutions, at both a national and an international level.  Specifically, the idea is to incorporate clinical simulation into the curriculum for the Bachelor's degree in Nursing as a teaching methodology for learning about and evaluatuing nursing competences and analysing the effectiveness of simulation as a methodology for learning about and evaluating nursing students at both an undergraduate and postgraduate level. 

The GRISCA group includes representatives of UIC Barcelona, the University of Girona, the San Juan de Dios Teaching Campus, the Escuela Superior de Ciencias de la Salud Tecnocampus, the University of Manresa-UVic-UCC, the School of Nursing in the University of Barcelona, the Blanquerna Faculty of Health Sciences, the University School of Nursing in Terrassa, the University of Lleida, the Rovira i Virgili University, the Bonanova Institute, the Gimbernat University School of Nursing, the Escuela Superior de Enfermería del Mar, the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, and the University of Andorra.

The Board of the GRISCA group currently includes Marta Raurell (University of Girona) as coordinator, and Mariona Farrés (San Juan de Dios Teaching Campus) as secretary. It also includes Encarna Rodríguez (UIC Barcelona) as first spokesperson, Carolina Chabrera (Escuela Superior de Ciencias de la Salud Tecnocampus) as second spokesperson, Ángel Romero (University of Girona) as third spokesperson, and Aida Campos (University of Manresa-UVic-UCC) as fourth spokesperson.
