Professors Santos and Mareque participated in the 3rd International Symposium on Piezosurgery

Dr Antonio Santos, a Professor in the Department of Periodontics at UIC Barcelona was a member of the scientific committee and co-chairman of one of the general sessions at the 3rd International Symposium on Piezosurgery, held at the beginning of October in Barcelona.  Dr Javier Mareque, head of the area of Prevention and Geriatric Dentistry in the Faculty, was also a member of the Organising Committee. 

Since it was set up, the International Academy of Piezosurgery has maintained its aim of becoming an international role model for all of those who are involved n the use of medical and dental piezoelectric devices. These types of meetings are designed to present the latest progress in new surgical techniques for bone surgery and clinical protocols for the global presentation of the piezoelectric bone.
