The programme to prepare the business leaders of the future gets under way once again

The Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences kick starts the Academic Excellence Programme aimed at second to fourth year students from the Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management with an outstanding academic record

This year’s Academic Excellence Programme (PEA) is finally under way. Second to fourth year students from the Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management and with the best academic record have taken part in the first of the programme’s four sessions, which focused on impact investments. The session was also attended by Ship2B Investment Manager, Bruno Lusic, and the director of HAUS Healthy Buildings, Ricard Santamaria.

As a follow-up to this session, the students will visit the pharmaceutical company Novartis to discover first-hand what it’s really like to manage one of the industry’s top companies. In the third part of the programme, however, the students will take part in a case study at Today's Business Center in Barcelona. The PEA will also be launching a parallel consulting competition, where students will work in groups to solve and respond to a specific business-related challenge. In the module’s final session, the students will present their proposals to a board of experts.
