Public hearing in the accreditation process of the University Master’s Degree in Legal, Forensic and Criminological Psychopathology

The University Master's Degree in Legal, Forensic and Criminological Psychopathology is currently in the process of securing accreditation through the process laid out in the Framework for the Verification, Monitoring, Modification and Accreditation of official degree programmes (MVSMA), established by the Catalan University Quality Assurance Agency (AQU).

On 22 November, an External Evaluation Committee set up by AQU Catalunya will visit UIC Barcelona with a view to evaluating the degree programme on-site. More specifically, the purpose of the accreditation visit is to:

  • ensure the quality of the academic programmes, in accordance with the established rating system and the criteria laid down by current regulations;
  • ensure there is viable and reliable information to help the users of the university system make decisions; and
  • facilitate the internal processes for improving the quality of the programmes and services developed by the Catalan universities.

There are the numerous hearings scheduled to take place, including a public hearing which may be attended by anyone interested in expressing their opinion about this master’s degree.

The public hearing will be held on 22 November at 3 p.m. in the Sala de Juntas in the Rector's Office.
