Qida and UIC Barcelona launch the Integrated Home Care Classroom

The new company-sponsored classroom is the result of the cooperation agreement between the two entities, and has been set up with the aim of promoting academic activities and research projects focused on integrated social and health work

UIC Barcelona and the home care company Qida have signed a cooperation agreement to create the new Integrated Home Care Classroom, promoted by the University Institute for Patient Care, with the aim of promoting initiatives and lines of research focused on the social and health field.

Commitment to society and to its most vulnerable members are two of the values shared by UIC Barcelona and Qida, and which have led the two organisations to promote the new Integrated Home Care Classroom. Located in the University Institute for Patient Care, the company-sponsored classroom will promote research studies, as well as the organisation of conferences aimed at professionals from the health and social sector, and the creation of forums for debating issues related to the present and future of integrated home care as a value proposition.

The first activity planned is the #Essencials Conference, to be held on 24 February in the UIC Barcelona Aula Magna, which will bring together representatives from the fields of health and social services work in Catalonia, to assess the lessons learned from the pandemic and share the challenges for the future of integrated care.
