The RACC and UIC Barcelona, together for training in the Experience Campus
The RACC, through its social platform and BE65 services, and the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya, from its Experience Campus, have signed a collaboration agreement to promote the offer of university studies for older people
President of the RACC, Josep Mateu, and the rector of UIC Barcelona, Alfonso Méndiz, have signed the collaboration agreement. In an environment where more and more people reaching retirement age are healthy and motivated to continue training and to update and expand their knowledge through continuing education, both entities have decided to collaborate to make it easier for this group to access a university training offer adapted to their interests.
To this end, the RACC and UIC Barcelona will cooperate so that the members of the BE65 community, promoted by the RACC, can access the academic programmes and other training activities that are part of the University's Experience Campus. The two entities will also collaborate by jointly organising other new activities, such as seminars, conferences, outings and trips, among others. Moreover, students of the UIC Barcelona Experience Campus will also be able to become part of the BE65 community and benefit from the advantages of the social platform and services.
BE65 is an independent initiative and promoted by the RACC, aimed at people over 65 years of age and inspired by success models that have millions of subscribers in Europe and around the world. The platform is accessible to any person (members and non-members of RACC), and offers activities, content of interest, discounts and services to help live intensely this new life stage.
