The Reservoir Dogs remake scoops a double victory at Filmmaking 2021
Students from the Faculty of Communication Sciences reproduce some of the most iconic scenes in the history of cinema
The sixth edition of Filmmaking has drawn to a close with an exhibition of the different remakes that the students of the Faculty of Communication Sciences have worked on during the academic year. This year, the students have returned to the role of directors, producers and cameramen and women to recreate the most iconic scenes from the films Scary Movie, Batman, Toc Toc, La femme à la peau bleue, Tuck me in and Reservoir Dogs.
During the event, led by the Faculty’s lecturer Geoffrey Cowper, each director showed the original scene, their remake and the making-of the film they had worked on. The audience then had to vote using a QR code for the best remake and making-of. The remake of Quentin Tarantino’s feature film of the men dressed in black, directed by student Ainhoa Lucas, and the video showing the making-of the best ‘remade’ scenes by student Salut Baldirà, were named best projects.
Filmmaking is an extracurricular activity that brings together students from the Faculty to foster their passion for the small and big screen, while reproducing legendary scenes from films and television series.
