The associate lecturer in the Faculty of Law at UIC Barcelona presented a paper at the 2019 International AELFE Conference. The event, which this time was held at the University of Navarra, focused on the following theme: “What some Spanish law firms do to improve written communication skills among their lawyers”. 

A professor from the University of San Jorge, Dr Diana Giner, and a partner from Fieldfisher Jausas law firm, Pablo Franquet, both took part in this research project. During the conference they explained which firms have a style guide, which have language advisors and what types of written communication courses they offer.  They also described their own teaching experience in three well-known Spanish firms and two ministries.
