In the healthcare field updating professional knowledge is essential. To that end, and as part of their commitment to providing courses to alumni members, the Faculty of Dentistry offers numerous courses which allow them to remain up to date with the most advanced techniques and technology with classes taught by experts from each specialist area. 

For that reason, Dr Vanessa Ruiz, Dr Isabel Sáez, Dr Patricia Bargiela and Dr José Nart, who are all specialists in the area of periodontology and implantology, have created an innovative programme for the Expert in Laser Dentistry and Complementary Technologies course.  Through this course, professionals can find out at first-hand about the fundamental basic knowledge required to use laser technology in daily practice, as well as other cutting-edge technology such as magnification, or the use of centrifugation to obtain plasma rich in white blood cells and platelets.
