Semmelweis University takes part in the OSCEs in the Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

A delegation from the Hungarian university visited the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences to take part in and observe the OSCEs (objective structured clinical examinations) taken by Nursing students in the Comprehensive Centre for Advanced Simulation.

Semmelweis University (Budapest) has taken an important step towards exploring future partnerships with UIC Barcelona in the areas of teaching and research. This is the second time representatives from the Hungarian university have visited the Sant Cugat Health Campus to take an up-close look at how the Department of Nursing and Comprehensive Centre for Simulation work.

This time, the delegation included Dr János Gál, director of the Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Therapy; Dr Csaba Hermann, assistant director of the same department; Dr Zoltán Balogh, director of the Department of Nursing in the Faculty of Health Sciences and president of the Chamber of Hungarian Healthcare Professionals; and Borbála Kozma, nurse and lecturer in the Department of Nursing and coordinator of Clinical Education for the Department of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Therapy. During her time here, Professor Kozma helped prepare and conduct the examination for second-year students in the Comprehensive Centre for Advanced Simulation.
