Soler Presents New Results of Physiotherapy for Chronic Pain
On Thursday, 25 April 2013, Judith Soler, a professor in the Department of Physiotherapy in the UIC Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, presented the paper «New Physiotherapeutic Approaches to Chronic Pain» at the 22nd Refresher Course organized by the Catalan Society of Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine.
The course, organized by the Catalan Society of Rehabilitation and Physical Medicine, addressed chronic illness and the challenges it presents for all areas of the healthcare field. The course was divided into three roundtable discussions: "New Challenges in Chronic Patients", "Adapting Rehabilitation Services to the Current Healthcare Situation" and "Chronic Pain in Rehabilitation".
Professor Judith Soler presented the paper "New Physiotherapeutic Approaches to Chronic Pain" in the third roundtable discussion, in which she discussed chronic pain in relation to the pharmaceutical sciences, the biopsychosocial approach and intervention techniques.
