Student Pol Martínez Winner of Versus 2014, Organized by Club de Creativos

Pol Martínez, a third-year UIC Advertising and Public Relations student, is one of the 28 Advertising students who won Versus 2014. He and the other winners will take a tour of the leading advertising agencies in Spain.

The Versus competition has been organized by the Club de Creativos (c de c) for more than ten years with the aim of promoting young talent in Spain. The competition brings young people into contact with agencies and helps agencies locate young talent.

A total of 217 people entered this year's edition and there were 28 winners. These 28 Advertising students included Pol Martínez from the UIC. His project was assessed by a jury made up of the creative directors of different agencies and members of c de c.

In this edition, the participants had to generate a communication strategy for Oxoki, a brand of top-quality, customizable bicycles with an urban design and competitive prices, to make people aware of the website and attract traffic to it. UIC student Pol Martínez received advice from lecturer Pablo Medina on his project.

An award loaded with talent

The award for the winners of Versus 2014 consists of the c de c Tour, a programme organized by the club since 2001 that gives the students a unique opportunity to develop their creative talent in renowned agencies. The tour of advertising agencies will begin in October 2014. Each winner will visit six agencies in Madrid or Barcelona and will have to present a creative project based on a briefing. This rotation will allow them to prepare a work folder in collaboration with the most important creative advertisers in Spain and decide, based on the score obtained, the agency where they will do a two-month internship in January 2015.
