Student Ugo Aitsahalia, winner of the #Best2019 tournament with the Catalan handball team

Ugo Aitsahalia, a second-year physiotherapy student, won the Belgrade Sport Tournament (BEST) 2019 with the Catalan handball team. The competition took place in Belgrade (Serbia) between 16 and 19 May.

Aitsahaliam was selected two months ago to compete with the Catalan university team in this tournament, where the team took first place. The brother and sister Héctor and Paula Aza, students at the university, were also selected to play basketball for the Panathlon Club Universities (PCU) Games 2019.

BEST is a tournament which, since 2007, has brought together students from around the world to compete in various sporting fields so that they can learn about other countries and their cultures, and forge new friendships.
