Two students from the Faculty of Communication Sciences have won first prize for a“scientific project” at the 2021 UIC Barcelona Forum  The project, entitled “Sustainable human relations, a utopia or a reality? by first year Audiovisual Communication student Lucía Cladellas and second year Advertising and Public Relations student Maria Albero, was the winner out of the eleven projects presented under the same category. The project was supervised by faculty lecturer Rocío Montuenga.

This edition of the UIC Barcelona Forum was held online for the first time and the main theme running through the event was sustainable human development. More than a hundred students signed up for the event and had real and creative proposals to help improve human development in the context of liquid modernity and the current environment. The aim behind this is to turn the current context into a great opportunity to create a more humane world.
