Teaching staff and alumni of the Master's and Postgraduate courses in Paediatric Physiotherapy take part in the 6th Congress of the Spanish Society of Paediatric Physical Therapy (SEFIP)

A number of teachers and former students from UIC Barcelona's Postgraduate and Master's courses in Paediatric Physiotherapy were involved in the organisation and scientific team for the 6th Congress of the Spanish Society of Paediatric Physical Therapy (SEFIP) that took place on 18 and 19 November in the Faculty of Physiotherapy, Nursing and Podiatry of the University of Seville. The congress was attended by 160 paediatric physiotherapists from all of Spain's autonomous regions.

One of the highlights of the event was the talk streamed from the University of Columbia in New York given by Dr Victor Santamaria, a former student of the Postgraduate in Paediatrics, in which he spoke about the research he is carrying out on "scientific evidence and therapeutic implications for trunk control in a seated position during reaching and manipulation activities”. The congress also provided an opportunity to elect the new SEFIP management board.
