The Theatre Group premiered "Barcelona Experience” as part of Cultural Week

The UIC Barcelona Theatre Group recently premièred the "Barcelona Experience” play, directed by Carles Bigorra and written by the theatre group itself.  It is now a tradition that students who do theatre take advantage of Cultural Week to premiere a play.

At the start, the Director Carles Bigorra presented the play and explained that this year the theatre group has welcomed a lot of new people in comparison to last year.  After this the play began.  The theatrical representation was combined with audiovisual staging.

The actors stated that the play went off as expected:  “Everything was very fluid and the audience laughed a lot”, said Leandro Alvarado, a 3rd year Audiovisual Communications student and member of the Theatre Group.

If you were unable to see "Barcelona Experience", the Theatre Group will put the play on again at the end-of-year celebration.
