Three experts analyse teaching resources and professional opportunities along with fourth year students

The activity, open to everyone, was held on 21 March and focused on fourth year Faculty of Education students.

Salvador Vidal, vice-dean of the Faculty of Education at UIC Barcelona, was moderator of the session and participated in the round table accompanied by Pepi Boada, Pilar Casals and Eduard Martorell. The discussion focused on teaching resources and professional opportunities.

Pepi Boada is the head of the Educational Service (CRP) in Santa Coloma de Gramanet.  Educational Services (CRP) in Catalonia are teams that support schools and teachers in terms of teaching and educational activities. Depending on demand, they can also offer courses that will later count as merits for teachers that are calculated as part of their official competitive examination results.

Pilar Casals, a teaching inspector, talked about the tools to sign up for official competitive examinations and how to access public networks.

The third invited speaker was Eduard Martorell.  Eduard, who works for the Catalan Encyclopaedia company, discussed the issue of various professional opportunities and options, for example creating material for schools or textbooks.
