The twenty-fourth DRAC Novell International festival explores creativity in the digital world

On 18 and 19 November, the UIC Barcelona Faculty of Communication Sciences is hosting this year’s DRAC Novell International creativity festival, organised by the Advertising Business Association. The aim of this international festival is to recognise projects undertaken by Advertising students and give them the opportunity to present their creations to professionals from the world of business.

This year, the event will be held under the theme “The Ace of Creativity” and will explore creativity in the digital world across different disciplines through talks by industry experts including Victor Arriazu from VMLY&R Barcelona; Belén Pueyo from Gestmusic; Arnau Peidro from McCann Health Barcelona; Andrea Mingorance from Bakery Group and Araceli Escobedo from Urban Sports Club.

The festival will be held in person this year following last year’s event that was held online due to the pandemic. It will offer students the chance to attend two days of conferences, workshops and awards, and will close with the DRAC Novell International Awards ceremony for the best campaigns created by students from universities and advertising and business communication schools from around the world.

The Advertising Business Association set up these awards in 1997, with the support of the Catalan Government. Infojobs and Complot are also collaborating with this year’s festival.
