Twenty students from the Faculty participate in IESE Management Week

This programme rewards academic excellence and gives students the chance to explore concepts from different subjects using the case methodology applied to business management.

The top twenty third-year students with the best academic transcript from UIC Barcelona’s Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences have participated in IESE Management Week, a programme organised by IESE Business School that rewards academic excellence.

Over the course of one week, the students have explored concepts from different subjects using the case methodology applied to business management. The sessions were held at IESE and led by lecturers from the business school. The aim was to teach students about the skills involved in making executive decisions, improving their problem analysis capacity and working as a team.

The programme is taught entirely in English and involved practical group sessions on subjects such as Analysis of Business Problems, and classes on cases of Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Managing People in Organisations, Operational Finance and Operations Management.
