Both were chosen to participate in international tournaments along with the Catalan university basketball selection. In fact, last year the Catalan selection also achieved victory in the tournament by winning in the final in Iran.
Ugo Aitsahalia, a second-year physiotherapy student, is also due to participate in an international tournament. The Catalan university handball selection has chosen him to take part in the Belgrade Sports Tournament (BEST) 2019, which will be held in Serbia, between 16 and 19 May.
The PCU Games is a tournament that aims to offer students a platform where sport becomes a valuable tool for developing interaction and international experience. The BEST tournament has been bringing young people from around the world together since 2007 in various fields of sport to learn about other countries and their cultures, as well as make good friends.
