With this collaboration agreement, UIC Barcelona and the Sardenya Primary Care Team (EAP Sardenya) reaffirm the university status of EAP Sardenya as part of the UIC Barcelona project in the field of training in health degrees. The collaboration between the institutions has been established for clinical and health training of Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences students, as well as promoting the academic and research careers of professionals. The goal of the initiative is to ensure that both the teaching qualification and student satisfaction are at the highest level.  

With the signing of this partnership agreement, both institutions undertake to launch new teaching and research projects, especially those aimed at research in the field of family and community health and primary care. At the same time, they are promoting the adequate use of the health, human and material resources of EAP Sardenya for present and future university teaching in all university cycles in order to facilitate continuous quality improvement.

Present at the signing of the agreement were Dr Alfonso Méndiz, rector of UIC Barcelona, and Dr Jaume Sellarés, director of the EAP.
