UIC Barcelona and the University of Santander in Columbia sign a cooperation agreement

Students from the Columbian university will be able to take our Master's Degree in Entrepreneurship, Venture Capital and Private Equity.

Representatives of the Master's Degree in Entrepreneurship, Venture Capital and Private Equity recently signed the agreement with the University of Santander, in Columbia. The director and lecturer for the UIC Barcelona-specific master’s degree, Francesc Prior, travelled to Columbia to meet members of the Columbian university’s academic team in order to sign the agreement.

This cooperation agreement will allow students from the University of Santander to come to Barcelona for one or two semesters and learn “methodologies about how to fund or invest in start-up companies”, as Prior explained.

Therefore, students who complete their studies in the Catalan capital will obtain a Master's Degree in Entrepreneurship, Venture Capital and Private Equity as well as a professional qualification awarded by the University of Santander.

It is an opportunity for students to “be able to begin to visualise this opportunity and arrange their mobility experience, which can be beneficial in order to avoid any stagnation in their educational process”, in the words of the director of national and international relations at UDES, Omar Camilo Mejía.
