UIC Barcelona attends the Saló de l’Ensenyament and the Saló Futura
The University presents its degree programmes and courses at the 31st edition of one of Spain’s most important educational and training fairs. The event, held at the Fira de Barcelona exhibition centre from 16 to 20 March, provides attendees with information on all current educational programmes (vocational training courses, upper-secondary school, university degrees and higher education programmes, such as postgraduate and master's degrees).
After two years of pandemic, the Saló de l’Ensenyament and the Saló Futura re-open their doors and welcome guests in person to the Fira de Barcelona exhibition centre. UIC Barcelona is once again present at the fair’s 31st edition with a stand providing information about the programmes and courses offered at the University.
This event is one of the most important educational and training fairs in Spain, which started on Wednesday 16 March and will remain open until Sunday 20 March at 12 noon. The University's information stand is located in Hall 1 (stand E-522) in the Montjuïc centre, where information on all our academic programmes will be given: sixteen university bachelor’s degrees, some thirty international double degrees, fifteen university master's degrees, more than sixty postgraduate and continuing education courses, and four doctoral programmes.
The Saló was officially opened yesterday morning by the Catalan minister for Education, Josep Gonzàlez-Cambray, and the minister for Research and Universities, Gemma Geis. During the institutional visit, the minister for Research and Universities visited the UIC Barcelona stand and greeted the rector, Dr Alfonso Méndiz, who commented on the University's programmes and courses presented at the Saló, highlighting the thirty international double degrees and the Bachelor’s Degree in Bioengineering, a pioneering course in Spain, among others.
About twenty volunteers are also at the Hall, helping to answer any questions from the public. The Bachelor’s Degree in Medicine, which has recently received the WFME accreditation, thus becoming the first private degree in Spain to obtain this accreditation, has attracted considerable attention.
Tomorrow, on Friday, the Saló Futura will officially open. UIC Barcelona will be there and will be presenting its entire range of master's and postgraduate degrees, as well as the new courses on offer next academic year, such as the Master's Degree in Communication, Brand Management and Sustainability in the Fashion Industry, among others.
