The Times Higher Education (THE) world university ranking has published its results by subject for 2021, and UIC Barcelona has placed 501-600 worldwide and occupies joint =12th position in Spain in the field of Clinical, Pre-clinical and Health.

 

The areas of study included in this field are medicine, dentistry and others related to the health sciences (physiotherapy, nursing, bioengineering and biomedical sciences).

 

The THE-WUR provides a ranking of the best universities in the world by subject, covering eleven fields of study and providing an overview of the best higher education and research institutions in the world for these disciplines.

 

A total of 1,512 universities have been ranked by these eleven fields, which are: Arts and humanities; Business and economics; clinical, pre-clinical and health; computer science; education; engineering; law; life sciences; physical sciences; physiology and social sciences. 

 

The methodology used to compile the THE-WUR general ranking by subject 2021 is based on thirteen performance indicators, which are grouped into five areas: Teaching, research, citations, international outlook, industry income and academic reputation.
