The UIC Barcelona International Day offers information on the international mobility placements offered through the University
Organised by the International Relations Service, the activity attracted over 300 students interested in undertaking a placement abroad
The UIC Barcelona International Day, held on Tuesday 19 October on the Barcelona Campus, and on Wednesday 20 October on the Sant Cugat Campus, was organised by the International Relations Service with a view to informing students of the different types of international mobility and possible destinations offered through the University.
Over the course of the two-day initiative, students could visit the information stands set up at the entrances to both campuses, where members of the International Relations team were available to inform and advise them on matters related to international mobility.
The activity was a success and attracted more than 300 students who are already considering going abroad to a university in Europe or another institution around the world.
The UIC Barcelona International Day also provided a great opportunity to publicise the wide range of language courses offered by the Department of Applied Linguistics and promote the University’s international nature.
The event also served to help promote the international mobility briefings, which are held throughout October and November at and aimed at students from all years.
