UIC Barcelona, one of the top five universities in Spain for studying Business Administration and Management

The CYD Foundation has published its ranking and included UIC Barcelona among the best universities in the country for this field of Social Sciences

The Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences has cause for celebration. UIC Barcelona has been named as one of the top five universities in Spain for studying Business Administration and Management, according to the 2020 ranking compiled by the CYD Foundation.

The tool developed by the Foundation analyses the universities with the best indicators in 25 different knowledge fields. In terms of the Social Sciences, UIC Barcelona has been included among the five best universities for studying Business Administration and Management, alongside University Carlos III of Madrid, the University of Navarra, the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and the Pontifical University of Comillas in Madrid.

The dean of the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences at UIC Barcelona, Marta Mas, has expressed her pride at the news: “This result is fruit of many years of hard work and vigorous teamwork”.

This is the seventh ranking published by the CYD Foundation, for which they analysed 2,925 degree programmes from 76 universities, of which 48 are public (100% of them Spanish) and 28 are private (84.8% of them founded before 2019).
