UIC Barcelona organises the 1st Conference on Forensic Psychopathology

On 6 May, UIC Barcelona played host to the 1st Conference on Forensic Psychopathology: Controversies in Expert Neurocognitive Assessment in the Fields of Criminal, Civil and Employment Law, jointly organised by the Faculty of Law and the Spanish Association of Forensic Psychopathology.

The event served as a forum for the latest information on developments in neurocognitive assessment and its applications in evaluating capabilities from a legal perspective. Conference attendees included doctors, lawyers, psychiatrists, magistrates and neuropsychologists, who shared their experience in their respective fields.

The event was held as part of a series of activities organised by UIC Barcelona's University Master's Degree in Legal, Forensic and Criminological Psychopathology. These activities aim to provide people working in areas related to mental health a broader understanding of forensics.
