UIC Barcelona places 9th in U-Ranking’s employment index
Out of the 67 Spanish universities analysed, UIC Barcelona has been ranked in 9th place in the synthetic employability index, having been measured against three indicators: graduates registered as employed in the Social Security system (80.20%), graduates employed in graduate-level positions (76.90%) and the average salary for National Insurance contribution calculations (€27,534).
This year, UIC Barcelona has been included in U-Ranking’s list of Spanish universities (synthetic indicators for the Spanish university system), a joint project between the BBVA Foundation and the IVIE (Valencian Institute of Economic Research), which has celebrated its 8th edition in 2020.
Results show that UIC Barcelona has ranked 9th in the synthetic employability index. The university has also ranked highly in the field of Health Sciences, securing 8th place from among the 56 university institutions analysed in Spain, two of which, including UIC Barcelona, are private.
In terms of the Social and Legal Sciences, the university has also ranked among the top ten Spanish universities out of a total of 67 university institutions included in the analysis.
