UIC Barcelona presents its postgraduate degrees at the Saló Futura education fair

This morning the General Director for Universities in the Catalan Government, Josep Pallarès, inaugurated the Saló Futura education fair for master’s and postgraduate degrees that the Fira de Barcelona is hosting today and tomorrow. Cybercrime and ‘big data’ are two of the postgraduate programmes our university is particularly interested in promoting this year.

As well as our already consolidated postgraduate degree programmes, the Faculty of Law is also presenting a Master’s degree in Cybercrime, which aims to offer the necessary methodological and practical tools for professional development in various fields that are connected to each other. These include the prevention, detection, investigation, reaction to, gathering of evidence for and the indictment of crimes committed through the use of ICT.

On the other hand, the two main programmes being promoted by the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences that are currently closely related are the Executive Master’s degree in Big Data Science and the Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship, Venture Capital and Private Equity, which provide the knowledge and experience to promote entrepreneurship, with a specialisation in finance.

In the field of healthcare, the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences is offering new postgraduate studies in the field of Health Promotion:  Project Design and Development. In the Faculty of Dentistry there is a Master’s degree in Craniomandibular Dysfunction and Orofacial Pain, and an Advanced Postgraduate degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology being offered.
