UIC Barcelona takes part in UNIferia, the online university fair for bachelor’s degree programmes in Catalonia

UIC Barcelona joins eleven other Catalan universities that have decided to launch the UNIferia online platform following the postponement of the Salón de la Enseñanza due to health and safety concerns. The platform will give secondary students from around the country the chance to explore the wide range of bachelor’s degrees on offer, as well as the centres they can apply to for their university studies.

This special UNIferia edition for bachelor’s degrees at Catalan universities will be live from 19 to 21 March on the organisation’s website, www.graus.uniferia.org. Prospective students will be able to access the fair using their smartphones and over the course of the next few days, they will have the opportunity to join live chats to ask questions and receive individual advice regarding the bachelor's degrees on offer. They will also learn about systems for accessing university and enrolment procedures, study grants and scholarships they might be able to apply for and the international mobility programmes offered by each university.

Despite the fact the fair is only live for three days, the information will be available via the same link until October. Users will also find general information about the Catalan university system on the platform’s main webpage, as well as a search engine for locating all the undergraduate degrees offered by the universities taking part in the fair.

UNIferia is an online fair organised by the Conference of Rectors of Spanish Universities (CRUE) and the idea behind it is to provide information on the bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes available at universities around Catalonia. This year is the third edition of the event with Catalan universities’ bachelor’s degree programmes using a unique format.

On 23 and 27 March, the CRUE will also launch the first edition of UNIferia Master. This fair will provide information about the master’s degrees offered by over 50 Spanish universities, seven of which are located in Catalonia.
