UIC Barcelona welcomes students from Intisana school (Ecuador)

This is the first incoming international visit the university has received. Last year 20 students from Ecuador enrolled on bachelor’s and master’s degree programmes.

A group of students and teachers from Intisana school in Quito (Ecuador) visited UIC Barcelona on 11 April.  Intisana school was founded in 1966, and is now the Ecuadorian school that holds the largest number of international agreements with universities. It is also the first school in the country to offer the international baccalaureate (IB), and has been doing so since 1986.

The visit began with Holy Mass in our Barcelona campus chapel given by the school priest himself. Subsequently, students were given a presentation about the university and visited the facilities.

This is the first incoming international visit received by the university. On 24 April there is also a plan for a visit from Los Encinos school in Mexico. The international promotion department is working on repeating these experiences in future academic years with other schools.
