UIC Barcelona’s Faculty of Dentistry Attends 36th IDS in Cologne

UIC Barcelona’s Faculty of Dentistry took part in the International Dental Show (IDS) held from Tuesday to Monday, 10-16 March 2015, in Cologne. The IDS is the leading global event in dental industry and commerce and the key event for dental technician meetings.

Dr. Lluís Giner, the Dean of the Faculty, and Joan Vidal, the General Manager of the Faculty and the University Dental Clinic, were on hand at the Faculty’s stand. Dr. Pablo Altuna, a professor from the Department of Surgery, took part in the “Speak Corner”. He presented the study he is carrying out with the company Straumann, titled “Prospective clinical study of Straumann NNC implants (Roxolid®) in partially edentulous patients”.

This year's IDS welcomed 2,201 exhibitors from 56 countries and 138,500 visitors from 151 countries.
