The UIC Ranked Fourth among Universities by BBVA Foundation
The BBVA Foundation’s university ranking compares information on Spanish universities according to their results and productivity. The ranking’s scope includes teaching, research and innovation and technological development. The Foundation also ranks the universities in each of these areas.
The productivity ranking receives the most interest and press coverage. This classification is based on the productivity of Spanish universities and differs from past university classifications in that it uses weighted indicators to make all the universities comparable, regardless of their size.
This year, in terms of productivity, the UIC is ranked fourth out of 60 universities, in a three-way tie with the Universitat de Barcelona and the Universitat Rovira i Virgili. Among private universities, it holds second place behind University of Navarra.
