The UIC's University Dental Clinic (CUO) will continue to attend to patients who require treatment during the month of August, when it will open from Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The CUO is located on the University's Sant Cugat campus (on the ground floor of the Hospital General de Catalunya) and treats about 4,000 patients a month.
The clinic, which is part of the UIC's Faculty of Dentistry, has a constant commitment to studying, implementing and testing new materials and treatments that come on the market, provided that they meet the requirements of safety and reliability, since its ultimate goal is to contribute to the overall training of the UIC’s undergraduate and postgraduate dentistry students.
The CUO has 56 dental treatment rooms for practising dentistry, located in three general clinics, a special patients clinic with two treatment rooms, and a specialist surgery clinic with six treatment rooms.
During the month of August, the professional team at the CUO will continue to attend to patients with the same premise: to put technology and innovation to work for the wellbeing of the patient.
