Xavier Blavia, former Advertising student, wins the 11K Antena Solidaria

Former student of the Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising, Xavier Blavia Xandri, has been named champion of the fifth Antena Solidaria race, in the 11-kilometre category. The event took place last Sunday 14 November along the roads of the Collserola mountain range.

After a year of suspension due to the pandemic, the Atena Solidaria race returned for a fifth time. This year, more than 700 participants ran or walked the Collserola roads in one of the race’s three categories: twenty-two kilometres or half marathon, eleven kilometres and eight kilometres, as a community walk.

The Antena Solidaria is a race that fills the trails and pathways of the Collserola mountain range with charity runners, who this year have supported two causes. The first is NASCO Feeding Minds, an NGO that aims to create a network of IT classrooms in rural schools in Ghana to helping children learn how to use digital tools and facilitate their access to information.

The second, Escola Moragas, aims to improve the quality of life for people with intellectual disabilities and their families, help the students develop their personal, intellectual and emotional capabilities, respecting individual differences in the most normalised social environments possible.
