Lecturer Xavier Escribano has completed a brief research stay at the Institute of Philosophy of the Catholic University of Leuven in Belgium. This centre is known worldwide as the home of the Husserl Archives and is an internationally renowned centre of phenomenology.  In 1938 the Franciscan Father Van Breda carried out the famous rescue of the Husserlian legacy, in danger of destruction at the hands of the Nazis in Freiburg.

During his research stay, Assistant Professor Escribano was able to work in the specialised library of the Archives and held meetings and conversations with experts in contemporary philosophy and phenomenology. This research stay was possible thanks to the support of the Erasmus PLUS programme for teachers.
