The aim of the 12th Cross-Disciplinary Workshop is to reflect upon how we are caring for the planet in the current context of the climate and health crisis, from a cross-disciplinary perspective.
This year’s Transversal Sustainability Workshop will focus on Goal 3, 15 and 17 of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The objective is not only to reflect upon and analyse the current situation, but also to seek solutions and foster alliances to protect both the environment and our health.
Through student presentations and by listening and conversing with experts from different fields, this year’s workshop will explore issues such as:
- What effect has the arrival of the health crisis had on the climate crisis?
- Health crisis and climate crisis: opportunity or disaster?
- What is the social and environmental impact of the rise in teleworking in our society?
- What are the dangers and consequences of climate change on our health?
- Is the current situation a warning from Mother Nature?
- How can we help curb climate change in our daily lives?
- How does global warming affect our health?
- Which consumption habits help mitigate climate change?
- Are we still able to curb climate change and its consequences? If so, how?
