Painting Group

UIC Barcelona aims to promote knowledge and cultural integration through the acquisition of painting techniques.

Come along and join us in the world of art, with practical free-style workshops, exhibitions and cultural outings.

Soft skills: creativity in the application of ideas, aesthetic sense, initiative and autonomy.

Raquel Arévalo Sainz

Holder of an undergraduate degree in Fine Arts from the Complutense University of Madrid, a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from IADE and a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from UNIR.

She has received several arts grants including the end-of-study grant in Ayllón (Segovia), Villa Iris from the Botín Foundation (Santander) led by Guillermo Perez Villalta, and Blanca (Murcia) led by Mitsuo Miura.

She has worked with galleries in Spain such as La GaLeRia, Arte XXI and with the Gustavo de Maeztu Museum in Navarra, as well as outside of Spain for the Art du temps (France) and Lux-Art (Belgium) galleries.

Her current studio is located in Sant Cugat del Vallés (Barcelona) and she works as both a painter and a teacher. You can check out her work on her Instagram page: @raquelarevalosainz.

Professor:

Enric Aguilar i Puig

Graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona, specialising in painting. Since 1998, he has been professionally creating paintings within the fields of architecture and interior design throughout Spain.

He is a member of the board of directors of the Academy of Fine Arts of Sabadell. He later joined the board of the Art Museum of Sabadell.

In 2007, he opened his own art gallery, Aguilart, located in the centre of Sabadell. He has also created a team-building activity aimed at companies and other groups to work on team cohesion, creativity, and intuition through emotion and painting.

He continues to paint and hold exhibitions, in addition to teaching art classes at the Aguilart gallery aimed at developing creativity and personal growth. His work is on exhibition throughout Spain, as well as in Switzerland, Italy, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates (Dubai).
