Theatre Group

The Theatre Group brings together people looking for initial contact with the world of theatre as well as those who have previous with prior theatrical experience.

The methodology used combines key aspects such as facilitating the transition from thought to action, putting into practice oral expression and text related techniques. It also involves developing basic physical qualities with to create characters, develop on-stage behaviour, and also encourage creative ability.

Anyone interested in performing arts,theatre workshops or participating in creative activities will enjoy the opportunity that the university offers.

Soft skills: Oral and body communication, creativity, emotional balance, decision making, teamwork and adaptability.

Coordinated by:

Xavier Mercadé Macaya
Graduate in Psychopedagogy and Primary Education. He is co-director of the Auturo Bernal School of Theatre and co-founder of the theatrical production La Gàrgola. He has a well-established career in the field of theatre pedagogy with high school students and as a teacher in primary and secondary education.

  • The Theatre Group is coordinated by Núria Florensa, director, actress and teacher.

 

Núria Florensa

 

  • Núria Florensa has a bachelor’s degree in Audiovisual Communication, a master's degree in Innovation and Quality in Television and a degree in the Performing Arts. She is currently the director and co-director of several theatrical productions and is also rehearsing for two plays taking to the stage this year. She has directed short films and participated as an actress in several feature-length films.
