Senior University Programme in Culture, Science and Society in Barcelona
The Senior University Programme in Culture, Science and Society is a 3-year programme.
The subjects are drawn from the following areas of knowledge: history, art, philosophy, literature, science, technology, law, economics, sociology, psychology and health sciences, as a basis for examining current culture, science and society in depth.
The classes are taught in the Delta and Gamma buildings (c/ Terré, 11-19, Barcelona) on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4.00 to 6.30 p.m.

Classes in core subjects last for one hour and are taught on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 to 5.00 p.m. and from 5.30 to 6.30 p.m.

Methodology
Dynamic and participatory, including face-to-face classes and individual and group work.
Assessment: pass or fail. 80% attendance and active participation are required. There are no exams.
Students who have successfully completed all three years will receive the certificate of Graduate of the UIC Barcelona Senior University Programme in Culture, Science and Society. This is not a university degree programme.
How to enrol. Prerequisites and admissions
Requirements
The Experience Campus is aimed at the over-50s.
No previous qualifications are required.
Pre-registration and enrolment
The deadline for pre-registration for the 1st year of the Experience Campus is 15 September. It is necessary to fill in the registration form for the 1st course in Barcelona and come to the office (Terré 11-19, Monday to Friday from 9:30h to 13:30h, closed in August), to reserve a place for 50€.
The students from the introductory module are automatically pre-registered for the 1st year of the Senior Programme.
Students who have finished the 1st or 2nd years do not need to pre-register and can enrol directly for the next year.
As the number of places is limited, they will be allocated in order of enrolment.
