This group combines researchers with experience in different physiotherapy, biostatistics and biomechanics specialties. The central research topic is the study of physical exercise, as a therapeutic tool to improve people’s health, especially those suffering from diseases. To this end, three main research lines are studied:
- The use of manual physiotherapy and therapeutic exercise in muscular, skeletal and neurological alterations.
- The use of therapeutic exercise and movement control techniques to promote neuromotor development and treat locomotor and nervous system disorders.
- The study of different physiotherapeutic procedures and exercise as tools to prevent and treat cardiorespiratory conditions.
