The professor emeritus of projects at the Higher Technical School of Architecture of Madrid, Ignacio Vicens, congratulated and welcomed the students of the Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture to the professional world. They received their diplomas in the graduation ceremony held on 12 July.
"Obstacles are the genesis of the origin of everything. Creativity and the development of culture needs the struggle that only a critical environment can offer. It is up to you, committed architects, to broaden the geometry of architecture, culture and society. Are you ready?" Ignacio Vicens, professor of the Higher Technical School of Architecture of Madrid, analysed the current professional situation and encouraged graduates to use their profession as a driver of change in society and transformation of culture.
During the ceremony, diplomas were awarded to the graduates and the Extraordinary End of Degree Award was presented to student Delfina Roca. Likewise, the class representatives dedicated a few words to the university community of UIC Barcelona.
The event concluded with a few words from the director of the UIC Barcelona School of Architecture, Víctor Echarri, highlighting the figure of the teacher and congratulating all the graduates. This event welcomes all new graduates to the Alumni UIC Barcelona community.
