The University and Asisted, a private non-profit organisation with extensive experience in home care services for the elderly, functional diversity or those in an unexpected situation, have signed a cooperation agreement through which both entities expand their services offering quality care to all who need to aid in their well-being.

Committed to society and the welfare of the most vulnerable people, UIC Barcelona and Asisted combine their expertise and resources to meet the needs of people with advanced diseases or functional limitations, both in the medical area and at home. Through this cooperation, both entities offer professional support so that both patients and their families receive personalised care that improves their quality of life.

As a result of the agreement, Cuides UIC Barcelona patients  will be able to access Asisted services under special conditions, and Asisted users and their families will be able to receive medical and psychosocial care from the Clinic’s professional team either through admission or external consultation. Likewise, Cuides UIC Barcelona will cooperate in the Asisted training plan to improve the level of its professionals in the field of palliative care.
