The Communication, Education and Humanities Programme of the Doctoral School obtains favourable accreditation by AQU Catalunya

In recent months, the Doctoral School has been immersed in the process of accrediting the doctoral programme in Communication, Education and Humanities. This examination is decreed in the Framework for the Verification, Monitoring, Modification and Accreditation of Official Degrees, established by the Catalan University Quality Assurance Agency

AQU Catalunya (Catalan University Quality Assurance Agency) has given favourable accreditation to the programme in Communication, Education and Humanities of the Doctoral School. The programme has just received a positive evaluation from an external committee who visited the University on 3 May. This accreditation is essential for maintaining the official status of the degree.

In addition, the external committee highlighted a number of strengths and good practices that support the smooth functioning of the programme: personalised attention, the monitoring of doctoral student activity, the flexibility that doctoral students have for accessing further education, the multidisciplinary character of the programme and the general satisfaction of both the students and the faculty.

For nearly ten years, the Doctoral School has been working to maintain and improve the academic quality of the programmes that are part of the academic offering of the centre. The board of the centre was very grateful “to all the people of the community who have collaborated throughout this process and, especially those who participated directly during the visit.”
