Members of the Board and third-year students of the three joint double degrees with Birkbeck, University of London have stayed in London. Over three days they visited the campus, toured the city and talked to current UIC Barcelona students who are studying their final year at the British university
UIC Barcelona and Birkbeck, University of London signed an agreement in 2018 offering three double degrees in Business Administration and Management with Marketing, Economics and Financial Economics. For this reason, members of the Board and students of the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences attended Birkbeck, University of London to learn about the campus and explore new means of collaboration between the two institutions.
Throughout the stay, students were able to enjoy a guided tour of the campus, meet UIC Barcelona students who are currently studying their final year in London, attend classes and talks, and visit the city.
The Board of the Faculty of Economic and Social Sciences was also able to meet with the board of directors of the double degrees at Birkbeck, University of London, and to strengthen relations between the two universities. The visit was great motivation for students of these double degrees, who will have the opportunity to study abroad.
UIC Barcelona and Birkbeck, University of London have been developing different programmes since 2018 that allow students to complete their studies in London.
