The event commenced with some words of welcome from Dr. Javier Junceda, the Dean of the Faculty of Law; Marianna Zanuy, the Director of the Alumni Association; and Xavier Amat, the President of the Alumni Association, who held up the UIC’s values as a differentiating characteristic in the current university panorama.

The evening included the talk, “Paradigm Shifts in the Legal Sector”, given by Eugenia Navarro, a strategic marketing consultant, and Javier Moreno, managing partner of Iuris Talent, the first Spanish company to specialize in headhunting legal professionals.

The speakers analysed the current state of the legal sector and discussed the qualities a lawyer must have to survive today. They highlighted the importance of languages, the creation of an effective personal brand, and good sales and management skills.

The reunion ended with a cold supper, during which lecturers and students exchanged memories and experiences.
