The group is part of the Folktandvården Commission, which works to provide a comprehensive dental service for the whole of the Swedish population.

During the visit, comparisons were drawn between academic experiences in both countries, including lines of research, teaching methods, number of students per course and hours of practical work.

The visitors were able to examine part of the Faculty of Dentistry’s facilities, among them the pre-clinical laboratory with dental phantoms, the new surgical clinic and the prosthetic laboratories.
