In Barcelona will take place in the ESARQ (UIC) an event that will include cutting-edge contributions of architects from all over the world: the 2nd International Conference of Biodigital Architecture &Genetics. Among the topics to be discussed appears -for example- Biodigital research, teaching and professional experiences, Nature’s geometry in architecture, Emerging design strategies, Generative algorithms, Bionic design, Biolearning methods in architecture, Topological and continuous architecture, New methods of biodigital production, Digital conception and fabrication, Biodigital and genetic architecture visualization, etc. 

Explained in words of its Conference Chair, Prof. Alberto T. Estévez, "the whole planet is in front of danger of no-sustainability for all mankind. By chance, now in this crucial moment, are offered new techniques of an enormous potential: biological techniques and digital techniques. And even fusion of both, in something that can be named biodigital architecture."
