Juan Pablo Garrido, new member of the CASE Europe Council

The Director of Corporate Development at UIC Barcelona has joined the European advisory board of the Council for Advancement and Support of Education. On 11 October, Garrido attended the CASE Europe Council meeting as a new advisory board member

The meeting took place at the CASE European headquarters in London. The Council for Advancement and Support of Education is a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting higher education and the advancement of educational institutions, especially through the professionalisation of the Alumni, Communication, Fundraising and Marketing. The Council works with universities, colleges and other higher education institutions to encourage excellence in education and institutional development. More than 3,000 institutions worldwide are part of CASE, which includes UIC Barcelona.

As a new member of the advisory board, Garrido will cooperate as a volunteer with the heads of universities such as Cardiff, Glasgow, Helsinki, Leeds Beckett, Newcastle, York, London School of Economics and Political Science or Stockholm School of Economics.

The purpose of the advisory board is to ensure that participation, training and outreach initiatives are aligned with the current and emerging needs of the education sector.
