Reguart, speaking to the European Handball Federation, assured that his performance is due, among other things, to the number of quality minutes he is playing in this kind of matches, “they give you that additional experience and that makes you grow as a player,” Reguart explained.

Reguart is part of the Sport Talent programme, which allows professional and high- performance athletes to combine elite sport with their university degree programme. Currently, 38 UIC Barcelona students, 23 women and 15 men, are part of this programme that was launched in 2021 and gives these student athletes a series of rights to help them reach their maximum performance in academics as well as sports.
